Why crews reach for it
The 3K is the lighter-touch hot-water washer, for jobs where 5,000 PSI is more than the surface should take. 3,000 PSI at 3 or 6 GPM, 250°F, on an 18 HP Kubota diesel.
More pressure isn’t always the right call. On coatings, softer substrates, and food-grade surfaces, too much PSI does damage instead of cleaning. The 3K leans on 250°F heat to do the lifting at a pressure that won’t cut the surface. Run 6 GPM when you want coverage and speed, and use 3 GPM for tighter detail work.
