FAQ

Questions about service on the Mississippi River corridor

Do you deliver and install wash pads in Baton Rouge?

Yes. Wash pad sections ship from our Houston yard on standard flatbeds, and Evans crews install them. Planned installs typically need 4 to 12 weeks for site coordination. Emergency deployment is possible within a week.

How fast can you get cleaning equipment to a plant during a turnaround?

Rental inventory is available at all times. Call us with the unit and the gate. We will tell you on the phone what is available and when it can be on site.

Do you serve the chemical corridor south of Baton Rouge?

Yes. We serve Geismar, Plaquemine, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, and the river plants down to St. Gabriel. We also ship to any site in the country. Distance changes the schedule, not whether we can do it.

What ground does the wash pad need?

A flat, load-bearing surface. Gravel, mats, concrete, and asphalt all work. Our crew surveys site elevations before we unload a single section to confirm drainage.

Who handles the wash water?

The pad contains wash water in its troughs. Your contractor removes it by vacuum truck, diaphragm pump, or submersible pump for treatment, recycling, or disposal. Evans can supply AOD pumps for the transfer.

Not in Baton Rouge? We still deliver.

Wash pad sections and cleaning equipment ship anywhere in the lower 48, installed by Evans crews. There is no service boundary.
